One Year...This sums it up

He's walking, he's babbling, he hates sitting still, he's got a serious passion for life.

He's my little man, and I wouldn't trade him for the world.

I guess this video sums it up.

Happy Birthday sweet angel.

12 week blessings!

We have made it to 11 weeks and 4 days, so I'm doing this post a bit early. But, we had a doctor's appointment on Tuesday for the sweet baby 2 and he/she could not be more active! They were doing flips in my belly, and would barely stop moving for our OB to monitor their heartbeat.

So, this baby has the potential to be as crazy as Jackson. If so, we're in for it!

Profile shot of the sweet little arms/legs. Totally looks like a girl...I may be biased though. I sincerely will be happy with either. But, I can't lie and say I'd be super excited if it was a girl! 5 more weeks until we find out! I can't believe it!

Overall, I just feel extremely tired, and extremely fat. My belly is expanding I feel like by the day, and it doesn't quite look "baby" yet. I'm hoping in the next two weeks it'll really start to look baby and I can embrace the belly. I liked doing that with Jackson, and I'm sure I'l love it with this lil' 2 as well.

Getting more excited by the day!

*Side note: I know I didn't do a post on Jackson turning 11 months. But, he's so close to a year now I just figured I'd combine them together. I had to leave that note for my "future" self.

Jackson's First Christmas

I can only explain his first Christmas (and the days surrounding it) in photos. It was just that cool.

We went to Beano's one of the first nights we were in Vail/Arrowhead. Traveling up on the sleigh in negative degree weather meant bundling Jack up as much as we could. It was too cute.

A leftover picture of Kaylee & Jackson at the cookie baking.

One of our multiple trips to Costco. Jackson scraped his chin on the fireplace hearth, which made for a great look for Christmas pictures. Auntie also made him a new hat & pumpkin bread. Look at those baby blues!

We went bowling. It was A class style. Only in Vail.

Auntie Jessica's Christmas tree they cut down in the forest. It was too adorable.

Christmas morning. Jackson playing with his new toy.

A new Glockenspiel that actually plays in tune (mostly)

Reading with Daddy.

He got a Car! Lucky boy!

A little Christmas evening bath. With a mohawk.

Gammies & Jackson on my birthday.

Auntie & Jackson on the day we left for home.

"SO BIG!"

The girls at Splendidos on our last night there. (10 Weeks pregnant)

The original family.

Jackson & I on his THIRD trip to Splendidos! His cheeks were that rosy the whole time we were there due to it being so dry & cold.

The girls with Jackson the day we left to come home.

It really was an amazing trip of relaxation, snowboarding, great conversations with family, amazing dinners & breakfasts, and days of doing puzzles & watching the "Price is Right." We couldn't ask for a better family.

The (four) of us on Christmas eve!

God is so good!
